Dr. Akshay was referred to me by a friend who had an upper back issue and was cured by Dr. Akshay after a few sessions. I have had this issue for over a decade and like any other young and naive person I ignored the symptoms for the longest time till it reached a point where I couldn't even move my neck. I went to Dr. Akshay in the month of May and he suggested me to get an X-Ray and see a spine surgeon. The spine surgeon conducted an MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray and a few blood tests and concluded that I have TOS. I was prescribed physiotherapy as the first line of treatment. I came back to Dr. Akshay and started my physio sessions. From Day 1, he was super confident that I would not need any surgery and that he will be able to fix the issue with just physio. I will be honest, I had my doubts initially, given that TOS is a rare disease and I had this pain in my shoulder blade for over 10 years but 2 months down the line and 7 sessions later my issue is completely fixed. I just have to manage by doing some basic shoulder and neck stretches and that's about it. I would highly recommend Dr. Akshay Wagh for any kind of physiotherapy, he is highly skilled and knowledgable and explains each & very thing in detail. The clinic has a very positive vibe and a cute little dog named "Dash" who is an icing on the cake.

You don’t often meet a Miracle worker but I got really lucky with this one! For the past few months, I was having a lot of trouble with my back, which made it hard for me to move around. Short story: He saved my back.

Really really long working hours, constant travel and lack of exercise cause a lot of back issues with almost everyone these days. A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with a slip disc in the upper lumbar spine. The spine surgeon recommended that I undergo physiotherapy instead of going in for a surgery at that stage and if I did not do that, surgery would be the only option. It was then when I came across Dr. Akshay and his team. Not only did he explain to me what happened but why it happened and how to avoid it in the future. Now I am much much much better and I completely trust him with any related issues (strain due to working out or mobility issues). I have full faith in Dr. Akshay and he has my full recommendation.

Found out about Dr. Akshay via online recommendations from other patients. I liked the fact that I was able to trust her as I have seen benefits of the treatment. She knows what she is doing and I never got to feel that she was only interested in having me on as a permanent patient, but rather was keen on my improvement as she suggested exercises I could do at home. She has been very forthcoming in her suggestions, going over and beyond her duties within her working hours as she was so kind and made herself available late at night when I was in pain.

Akshay was very good in understanding my problem and helping me through my recovery. There were times that I just didn’t believe I would be back to playing football and running but the entire team at Proformance was very supportive and motivating in helping me recover.

Had a fantastic experience with Akshay. He’s been able to diagnose and hasten recovery significantly. Akshay diagnoses and explains the injury with a high level of detail. Therapy is very effective and kick starts the healing process right away. Post therapy guidance is fantastic. I struggled with a running injury for over a month before starting therapy and am kicking my self at not consulting him earlier.
